Didnt get to start gutting the car today. However, I did get some work done today and the new turbo showed up along with my AEM v2.

Comp Ct4 6767 Triplex Ball Bearing

I had a 66 PTE .82 vband housing that we machined to join with this turbo since I like the vband setups and didnt want to spend the extra cash on a TIAL housing.

Its not oilless but it is triplex ball bearing and is also SUPER light with the billet center section. Im excited to try something different a go against the grain a little.

More updates coming soon as I get free time to work on the car.

I thought it was funny the turbine housing had to be opened up as much as it did to fit this thing. I mean I thought it would be a millimeter or so but as you can see the turbine wheel is almost as big as the 3" id of the vband outlet.

Turbine wheel measured bigger than 67 and so did the compressor wheel. I am going to get some better pictures of this turbo once I port the compressor and exhaust housings and have the compressor re powder coated.

Turbo is rated to 940whp but if the ratings and or the wheels are any base indicator it should be capable of much more. I like the idea of the triple ball bearing design after I started looking into it and have heard good things about their warranty structure. Figure its worth a shot as some of the v8 guys I know along with a viper or two run Comp turbos and love them.

Heres the picture of the turbine housing now.

JT, we decided half fill today. ****s messy as hell so get ready. Also if the motor isnt on a stand you have to figure out a way to keep it as level as possible and you want to be able to vibrate the block a little to shake any air bubbles out.

That actually set the block on top of one of their polishing machines for a few minutes then put it back on the bench.

Well, I got word I have a few sponsors for 2015. Built4g63.com and Turbo elements are on board for 2015. Mike and the guys at built 4g have a set of pistons coming for me tomorrow and the turbo element guys are working on something special.

So if anyone is interested in a ff manifold vband flange for turbo and vband gate lmk. Im selling it cheap.

5zigen GN+ proracers..... actually are hard to get ahold of and now discontinued.... why, you know someone that might want them?

On a side note, my new manifold is done, clutch is being made and will be here within the next two weeks, rods are ordered, and trans parts are being wrapped up. Tcase was shipped to Dan Buschur for him to set up, and the rear diff will be going soon as well.

Car is going into the shop and the teardown is going to officially begin. I will have some updated photos of car within the next two weeks depending on school and work.
