New update... the final thing that was bugging me was the steering wheel... it was badly worn at the 12 o'clock position like most older steering wheels, so I found a low mileage IX wheel for a good price and pulled the trigger... waiting on that to arrive and install... will update pics afterwards.

Finally had a chance to take it out an get a proper road tune on the heap today... timing was very conservative, and the way the boost comes in, I think I have a boost leak or the wastegate needs to be tightened... but stock injectors are maxed out anyway at 101% IDC... anyway here is what it spit out in Virtual Dyno...

Shouldn't the stock injectors flow slightly more? Seems like they maxed out a bit early

Hence why I think it has a boost leak... stock injectors are old as well, usually static is at 115% in Evoscan... fueling wasn't uncontrollable but also a little much for my liking...

Small update for today... nothing performance wise, but I finally broke down and bought an Infinity Basslink for Crutchfield scratch and dent on Tuesday around noon, showed up today, and proceeded with the install which took a little over an hour... clean install, and stereo is much much better... next up is timing belt/water pump job once it gets warm out again, I also have to replace some seals that are seeping a bit as well...

The interior panels were beyond bringing back as they were stained badly with little black specs... would not come off with anything... so I ordered some CF vinyl and wrapped it yesterday... Came out pretty good... I didn't wanna really wrap the Radio bezel but it looked crappy not wrapped... so I went ahead and did it...

Next, I found a set of used GSC S1s local for a steal, and the guy delivered them to the shop for me and those were installed yesterday as well... While I was doing the install, I noticed that the motor side of the timing belt had been rubbing on something.

Fast forward to today, and I did a timing belt on it today... I had a slightly used belt off my black car that had around 7000 miles on it, so that went in. There was a bit of oil in the front case and it seems that no one put thread sealer on any of the tensioner bolts during the last timing belt service, and it had to come out to get compressed anyway, so they have sealant now as well...

Cliffs: Wrapped dash in CF vinyl, installed GSC S1s and Installed Timing Belt

Im 50% 50% on the vinyl .. Keep the pics coming

Man I hate the local USPS... I miss living in the country sometimes as they would bend over backwards for me if I needed a package... I ordered a used driver side door lock actuator the other day as my keyless entry only works if I manually lock the driver door, and it showed up today, but required signature for delivery. My sister in law was at the house and up drinking coffee when the mail arrived, however never received a knock on the door, so I got a delivery notification slip... not available for pick up until Monday... WTF!!!

So went and picked up the door regulator I got in from Nicky@MRP. Had the old one out and the new one in in 30 minutes, then the moment of truth... is my keyless entry going to work like it supposed to... BINGO!!! Only a few more little things!

I am looking at the Synapse DV, I'm glad its performing well.
Also a big fan of the Evo X battery relocation stuff, I added that to my bay to clean it up.

Figured I would update this thread since I have some new parts/some on the way...

Picked up a used ETS Stock Frame Turbo Manifold on the cheap, not sure if I am gonna end up using it as the car already has a Buschur ported/coated stock mani already...

Picked up a used FP Green 73HTA (JB), PTE 1000s, Cusco manifold heat shield and a spare Valve Cover last weekend from a local who was parting out his car.

Ordered Timing Belt kit, cam seals, oil pump seal and Water Pump kit to tackle later on when I have some time.

Already sent the spare Valve Cover to a trusted buddy in VA to shave & powdercoat for me, should have it back next week.

Will update more after I have some time to work on it... I have a business trip in Dallas all next week, and then headed to Oklahoma for Christmas/New Year...
