Yes, the guys over at MAC are pretty knowledgeable and do a good job. They've been around for a while.

Another good tuner is Harvey (The BoostCreep). He's located in Boulder/Longmont area. Harvey has been tuning cars for a long time and he's a smart dude. He works on Subaru's a lot but he does all sorts of tunes for different cars so give him a shout to see what he can do for you.

Thanks for the input, i took it to tobz, been trying to get the tune done for over a month and a half. never felt like such an inconvenience to someone i paid hundreds of dollars and to have work on my car and tell me i did a ****ty job putting it together. there were some things that wernt perfect on the car but were taken care of within a few hours. oh well lesson learned.

 

so update... on my 3rd tuner now and now it looks like my crank position sensor is going out not the end of the world but another set back, 109k and 11 years of use I guess it did its job.

 

I use Christian at Pure Drive Performance. He is great, easy to reach, and is quick to make tune adjustments if you need it. That crank position sensor definitely did its job, shouldn't be too tough to get it swapped out. Good luck.

Update: 10/6/15 someone decided to sideswipe my car and leave. no note or insurance card figured it was a good time to get the jdm rear painted since the fender needed fixed
