Was able to get a bit more done over the last few days.

Front suspension is off and getting ready for powder coat, and got the exhaust manifold/turbo off the car. Hurray nice weather!






Only casualties were one exhaust stud and the vehicle speed sensors. Could have been worse.

In that thought process, if I am deleting ACD and ABS, can I eliminate the wheel speed sensors? Haven't had a chance to research that yet.

Another weekend and a little more time to work on it.

Was able to get the fenders and headlights off.


Now the fun part of grinding away and sealing all the surface rust begins!

Nice thread, glad to see youre doing so much work to the car. I have a question, did you end up installing the Energy suspension urethane kit ? Im thinking of buying it and putting them on, just wondering if its worth the money.

 

I have not - car is currently on the back-burner do to my work schedule unfortunately.
