I must have missed it, What FF manifold is that? Is that the ets manifold?

Thanks man! You definitely can't go wrong with Xona Rotor

And yep! It's the ETS manifold

Will the single valve springs work for what you need? i figured that kind of cam and power you will want duel valve springs,

Hope you get to drive the car soon. I have been waiting 2 months for a tune and that has felt like forever.

Dual valve springs are a meme.

BC said it'd get the job done. Since I'm not going nuts and it's still a stock cylinder head, stock bottom end, it's not going to be revv'd to the moon.

Congrats on the new home...
Can't wait for dyno results as this is basically an 86HTA on a bigger 64mm hotside...
Would be interesting to see how it compares to the 3586HTZ is replaces.

Welp still waiting on my charge pipe. 6 weeks and I never got a response back, so I'm going to pick it up this weekend. I finally was able to talk to my friend building it, he ran into some tough times in life so I'm going to have it finished up somewhere local here in FL.

I did, however, put my old trunk with the wing on it. It's definitely a 20 footer, the trunk has some crumbly rust spots where the wing mounts and the wing isn't in the beeeeest shape. But it's different from what I've been looking at for the past three years.

Hopefully more updates coming soon!

Here's a fun update!

So I found a killer deal on the STM Aluminum catback (the catback I wanted since I got my Evo) and jumped on it (Thank you Jason from TPG!). I got that installed this weekend and it sounds a lot mo betta than what was on there (some no-name exhaust. It was decent but looked meh).

So the Evo is finally ready to get tuned, hopefully I'll have something scheduled in the next few weeks to see what it'll do. I gotta drain the tank and put E85 in it, change the oil and do a big ol once over before I trailer it to make some jam. I'm freakin stoked to finally be able to drive my car and floor it haha.

I also picked up a couple freebie projects a couple weeks ago. I'm getting married on April 10th, 2021 and one of my groomsman (also a fraternity brother) was like "hey man, want a free Jeep?" I simply said does a bear **** in the woods, three weeks later it showed up along with another freebie that's close to the same story, but a previous employee. I got a 1947 *****'s CJ-2A and a 1984 Honda CB1000 Custom, both from the original owners all for the low cost of free. So those have been taking up some time away from the Evo.

Hopefully the next update I send is one saying the car freaking moves and is running better than ever - fingers crossed.

Haha!

Well.

I have a 4G63 short block sitting in the garage, and I work for a Subaru parts company. So I was thinking maybe Evo 8 4G63 with a STi trans and roll like that.

BUT, I'm going to try to get it running and driving around like it is now before digging into another project.

Here's another small update.

After 8 months, I finally received my titanium charge pipe back - holy crap is it beautiful <3

I also have a misfiring issue. I got a couple new coils for my SparkTech COP, but it's still misfiring. I put the OEM coils back on it and boom no misfire and purrs like a kitten. So I might just invest in another one. Who knows.

I also just picked up a Radium double pump with two Walbro 450's, Radium filter, -8AN feed/-6AN return. So I should have plenty of fuel now
