I have always loved the Mistubishi Lancer Evolution and for the last 6 months ive searched for the right car. After giving up and going to try and buy a 2015 sti i found my car! Shes a 2004 Evo VIII SSL with 132k miles and apart from an AEM intake and 3 inch turbo back exhaust with a cat welded in it shes completely stock. In the past ive built a couple Jeeps, my current one being a TJ on 35’s so the evo is a huge departure from the norm for me.


The plan for the evo is to make it a solid backroad car that is still streetable and also capable of hitting the track. After 2 weeks of ownership though she has developed a major boost leak where she only makes 5psi sooooooo its time to make some power! In the next few weeks my ETS short route intercooler piping should arrive and i plan on ordering a DW200 fuel pump and Grimmspeed electric boost controller then have it tuned. Its already got boost and afr gauges so as far as a starting point shes ready!
