Hey everyone, this is the current build for my 2006 Evo IX RS. I purchased the car about a year ago with the intention of just driving it and having some fun. I missed the 4G63 and I've never had an Evo with one. I had a handful of DSMs in the past as well as an Evo X, and currently have a full bolt on GTR. I bought the car in December of 2023, and since I'm in Illinois I didn't get to drive it much. I don't drive my nice cars in the winter. The car was super clean with basic mods. It had an intercooler, intercooler piping, fuel pump, injectors, GSC S2 cams, and an ACT clutch. The underside of the car was also undercoated and it has no rust. I started to drive the car in April and was having fun, then the timing tensioner decided to start leaking and the timing jumped. Bad noises after that. So, I decided to fully build the car.
My main goal for the car is 600whp and working air conditioning. It will be tuned for 93 octane and E85 by Boostin Performance. Current mod list and progress pictures below. Probably missing some things, but I listed the important stuff.

This is a great looking build! You should be able to make 600+ without issue as long as the turbo is up for it.
I make about that on E with a way simpler setup.

The turbo is supposed to be good for 750hp. So shouldn’t be a problem.
Tried starting the car today for the first time. Getting a P0203 code. I have no voltage going to Injector #3 plug. Trying to figure out what is going on. Hopefully the ECU didn’t take a crap.
So the no voltage to the plug on Injector #3 was caused by resistor pack delete plug that I bought for the FIC 2150cc injectors. The actual plug was made wrong and missing a wire. I plugged in the factory resistor and I had voltage back at injector #3. So I made my own resistor delete plug from my factory resistor. Everything is good now. Stupid problem to have.
Tried starting the car again and got some more engine codes. This time P0340 No camshaft signal at EFI ECU and a P0335 No crankshaft reference signal at EFI ECU. The crank sensor is new so I started looking at the cam sensors. I googled some stuff about the Evo 9 cam sensors and found out they look the same, but are actually different. Boostin Performance installed them so I figured they had then installed correctly; however, I swapped them and the car fired right up. No more codes. It does only run for about 5 seconds before dying, but I'm making progress. Need to tweak some fuel settings and hopefully I can get it running.
