Afternoon, I'm interested in your car and you're close which is nice but can you help clarify a couple of things....
What turbo was previously installed? How heavily modded was it before you bought it?

I saw several threads that you made about "horrible" noises coming from the front end and/or the transmission. Did you ever get this sorted out?
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...side-20-a.html
When you launched it was it at the track or just on local roads? Any more launching since then?

I just got my Evo from a friend and he used to have a slim fan in the car to fit a larger turbo, but I now have the car and am putting it back to stock. The problem I am having is figuring out the wiring for the motor, as the wires are cut at the motor itself..........

okay so here is the latest update. The clutch which is an EXEDY twin disc HD has hot spots on it and also one of the springs is a little loose . The clutch has 5k miles on it and my car doenst even break 300whp! i know how to drive well and ive only done 2 launches. do i have a defective clutch and is there anything EXEDy would do for me? i mean thats rediculous.

I never took the Evo to the track and the car was never launched once, I simply loved it for its highway acceleration, great handling, and amazing looks.
i think there's your answer.

i dont know what set up he was running but it was only on the car for less than 2k. Everything was put on at once and taken off at once. Car was never tuned so car never made any power.
i rebuilt the trans 100%. that fixed whatever issue it was.
They were on the street but they werent hard or anything. was slipped from 3500k rpm
