Well it's about that time to post up the Junk Box EVO shell. I was debating going back and forth about keeping the shell for the future in case I planned to build the car again, however, I just decided to get rid of the car. A little about the car, I bought it basically stock about 6 years ago. I bought it from a local Mitsubishi dealership. The car has always been kept really clean. It has 62k miles on the body and overall the car is in great shape, no rust! The car is one of the fastest/quickest/cleanest EVO's in the world. Best pass was 8.6 with a best MPH of 174mph. The car had the potential to break the record, but ran out of time and interest. This is your chance to own this shell!

Right now the car is kept in a private storage facility. We just received 20 inches of snow in the Chicagoland area so right now it's basically impossible to get over to the storage unit. Here is what the shell comes with/has:

-NRG Carbon Bucket racing seat (very light)
-Staging brake
-Tachometer
-5 gallon Fuel Cell
-5 point harness
-Window net
-Obviously the full cage is still there, 12 point.
-Parachute mount with the Simpson Parachute with lever.
-Dash is still in the car.
-Lexan windows all the way around, except the front windshield.
-Stock Tarmac Black trunk.

The car needs head lights, tail lights and that's pretty much it for the exterior. The car has stock suspension all the way around and no brakes. I sold all my wilwoods and it would be better to have them off because I'm sure who buys the car will want to put wildwoods all the way around. Currently it still has the DSS Stage 5 rear axles in it, but they're spoken for unless the buyer and I work out a deal. It's just hard to get over there and take the axles out. The car also has no wheels/tires on it, but I can figure something out for the buyer, unless you have wheels/tires to roll the car around.

This car has been known throughout the community. The car is VERY clean and is a perfect car to turn back into a racecar. If your looking to build a street car, this will be very hard to do to turn it back into one. The car is setup for a drag car and won't take much to get it going again. I really hope someone can take this car and continue to race it. I would love to see this car at the tracks again and possibly at the Shootout.

Price wise I'm asking $9K OBO. I think that is a great price considering the cage alone and chute costs alone over $5K. I have the title in hand it's clean. It will also come with 2 keys lol. I would like to move this car quickly, but please no low ball offers. Car means to much to me to just give it away. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks!
