FS: World Electronics PBC-1 Electronic Boost Controller

I have for sale what I consider one of the best mid-priced electronic boost controllers on the market, the World Electronics PBC-1 Electronic Boost Controller.

I was lucky enough to have a hand in the design, testing and assembly of this unit when I worked for World a few years back and have one of the proto's left over.

Some of the highlights of the ebc:
-0-50psi capable
-20 seconds of data playback from the controller
-Self learning setup. Just go out make a 3rd gear pull to learn the wastegate pressure, enter a target boost pressure and the controller auto configures behind the scene for duty, gain, etc. to make the setup process easy. You will have to do some touchup with duty to get it perfect but much easier then ALOT of controllers.
-5 stages of boost with scramble. You can make 5 different boost levels or styles of boost curves or can be used for gear selectable boost.
-Adjustable level of backlight
-Very easy overall use
-External, aerospace transducer for the ultimate in boost accuracy

But what I think really makes this unit shine is the software. Aside from its intuitive setup, it does a wonderful job ramping the boost curve and controlling it once it gets to target. This means boost earlier while not getting spike on the top end of the boost curve just about no matter how aggressive the boost curve. On my old evo this controller allowed me to hold 22psi to 7800rpm with a 23psi target.

What you get:
-Controller unit (100 miles on unit)
-harnass
-boost solenoid (100 miles)
-brand new transducer with 1/4" to barb fitting (upgraded transducer $180 alone)
-instructions and my help with any setup/tuning questions .

What you will need:
- (2) 1/8" to barb male fittings for the boost solenoid(get them for $2 from Lowes or Home Depot or I can get them for you if you wish)
- You will need to extend the harnass if it doesn't reach for you because I can't find the backhalf of the harnass. If you ever wired a speaker then you can do this. If not let me know and I can make a extension for you.

Asking $280 OBO, normally $375. Any questions pm me here or e-mail me at evilgti2000@yahoo.com. Thanks
