(NC) Invidia tubular exhaust manifold
SOLD!!!! I have an Invidia exhaust manifold that was going to be sold to a friend of mine but he backed out on me. It has less than 1000 miles on it and is in very good condition. These sell new retail from Invidia for around $900 and from some vendors for $650 plus shipping. I am selling this one for $375 shipped and paypal fee's included. I will post pictures as soon as I can get them uploaded. Thanks for your interest.

Ported and coated stock manifold do flow very well and there are a few different schools of thought; one being that it flows better and is more reliable, one that the tubulars make more power, and people that just argue whatever they have is the best because they have no real knowledge or testing themselves and they just regurgitate whatever they read or their tuner or parts seller tells them.
I am from the school of thought that the tubular does make a difference because the exhaust gas does not have to make a right angle turn immediately prior to entering the turbo. This allows for a more linear movement of the gas and does not sacrifice the flow velocity. I believe this makes the turbo spool faster and makes better high end horse power. I have also run a tubular manifold on my car for over 25k miles and it has never cracked. It all has to do with the state of tune you run, if you run high EGT's don't expect any welds to last. properly tuned cars last longer and so do the parts installed on them.
The stock ported manifold from Buschur Racing has been proven time and again to make excellent power and torque. It is a matter of preference.
I hope I have answered your question and maybe some that you didn't know you had! LOL

I just checked Buschur's Website. Their ported and coated stock manifold is $195 plus shipping, very good price. You have to send them your manifold (no more than $20 shipping) and wait (no problem). If you don't want to send yours in, $350 core charge (less than the price of one from Mitsubishi so they can be sure you get good quality part). I am selling this one for less then the total cost of purchasing the core and service with shipping both ways plus you get to keep your stock manifold in the event you decide to go back to stock later on. Plus it's less then half of what Invidia charged for it when it was new (less than 1k miles ago).
