2005 Evo 8 stock Head for sale! Large photos!
I have a used with 125k Miles head that I am listing for sale!
I will post pics tomorrow of head with my name and date!
The head has one slightly leaking valve on the 3rd cyl. There is no damage to the valve as I can see visibly but it did have 110psi compression before I took it off to swap a new head on. The car was running and driving the day before I took her apart even with 110psi compression no tapping sounds or any sign of issues.
The head does not come with lifters or rockers. I do still have the stock evo 8 cams I can sell with or without the head. Head never taken apart or cams put in, factory sealed since I got it at 18k
The car has been on stock tune no more then stock boost, oil changed every 3000 miles or less if I felt it needed it with Mobile 1. Always used K&N oil filters since day 1. Car was used as a DD doing 60 miles 1 way to work every day! I always used Sunoco, Mobile 1, Shell fuels.
I am selling the head for BEST OFFER! Will need a new valve if not a rebuild!
This will be a great core or possibly a simple fix if you replace the 1 valve. All cylinders 1,2, and 4 made 170+psi compression at 125k miles. Cyl 3 had 110 psi.
I will also take trades for a set of new s2 cams, FIC 750cc injectors or Deatschwerks 750's I will also take trades for a good working low miles no shaft play evo 9 turbo. Willing to negotiate so please pm me.

I took the bad valve out today. (will update with more photos in a min) I do not see any damage on the head and the carbon is still on the valve seat so I do believe that with a new valve it can be run again. I do not see any other damage. Shoot me an offer
