I've got an 03-05 VIII valve cover for sale. It is in worn condition, not shiny and has scrapes but entirely functional. NO cracks, NO leaks. Would be fine for a DD or as a core to get powder coated or shaved etc.
The mounting holes are ALL OK. I thought they were a bit loose on first inspection, but they had taper bolts in them. I took a brand new OE straight cut bolt and was able to torque all coil, bracket/tab, and plastic cover holes to spec. I tried to get a decent picture showing the threads on all of the coil bolt holes.
The VC has never been sand blasted.
The plastic coil cover is in rough shape, but free with the valve cover. One corner is broken off and the whole thing looks like its been painted a few times. Again its fine for a DD, if you don't need it you can let me know or just throw it away. Otherwise it comes with the VC.
The gasket has 5k miles on it and should be perfectly reusable.
The PCV valve has literally about 800 miles and is a genuine Mitsubishi PCV ($30).
