How do you like the lift? I REALLY want a full size lift but my garage just isn't tall enough
I feel like the half lift is a waste since you can't stand under it....do you use a creeper or a rolling stool?
I used to work under a lift every day at Cadillac... and there really isn't much advantage to having a full size!
Exactly! You can use Dannmars low profile rolling stool, or something like Craftsmans adjustable creeper where the back stands up. It is actually more comfortable sitting when working vs standing. And that's why I got this lift... to make working on things that much easier.
I don't believe I would have been a very happy man even just pulling the drivetrain out using jackstands.
One of the negatives about this partial lift... is using a transmission jack. They are either too tall or too short- at least the ones I have seen so far are. I guess if you have floor style trans jack you xan lower the car, slide trans on, run in a couple bolts and lift back up.
I pulled the trans off using my shoulder :-D Haven't decided how it's going back on though.
I am back on a EBCS (Thanks to PureDrivePerformance!) and the car runs better than ever. It holds boost up top and makes this powerband massive!
The ShepTrans/Tcase have performed flawlessly. The Competition Stage 2 unsprung clutch is a stinky mother, but it has 10 launches on it, and still releases and shifts like a boss.
I went to the "local" drag strip this weekend, which resides at about 5000' above sea level, and had enough time for 4 passes. The DA was near 7,800ft on the hot 90 degree day. Of my 4 passes two were 11's, and the other two were botched launches which aren't worth talking about :-D

My girlfriend decided to get in on the action in the daily ('08 300C SRT-8, Diablosport, Corsa Catback)
If anyone wants to see some clips of this Evo in action head to my Channel (unfortunately most the videos are only mediocre quality)
Nice car. Just a warning about that clutch. Its not going to last at your power level. Ask me how I know. 1 autocross season and about 3 trips to the drag strip and it was done.
You make significant more power than me also... my HP number is close to 415 without elevation/temp correction, and the clutch killer (torque) is near 370.
It was just a street/strip rebuild. Basically everything wearable needed to be replaced. He had some used parts laying around that he sold to me for cheap.
The Evo 9 first gear is definitely a nice addition, although it does require a little more slip when taking off from a stop.

Over this past winter, I had a bit of cabin fever and had to do something different with my Evo! I followed "justa2L" on YouTube (blackE on here) and was mesmorized by the overall results he got on a IWG 8374 with .92ar. I knew it would be near impossible to duplicate, but getting close would be good enough.
