Hi all,

I am usually over in the EVO ECUFlash tuning forums for the 8/9, and have tuned several EVO's and a few WRX/STI's.

I currently have a guy wanting help in tuning his 04/05 USDM Ralliart. I am utilizing the Tactrix 2.0, and using the deffinition files I found in another thread on this section of the forum.

However, loading the into flash, and utilizing the ECU setting within ECUFlash to the 04RA ecu, I get this:



I select the highlighted ecu, and then try a read.

Flahs code says it utilizes this base metadata:

It then errors out.

Here is what I read over on the EVOScan forum:

and it looks like this is the way they say to flash it...


Please tell me there is another way to do this?

Did you try flashing it with the ecu connected in the car?I don't know what rallairts use to tune maybe you should go in the ralliart tuning section....if it was a 2.0L ES/LS/OZ i could of helped but not for a ralliart sorry :/

 

I use Fastworks...all the leg work and definitions have already been done for years...if you're set on using ECUflash, talk to merlin....If you want it to be easy and user friendly, talk to hackish...

 

Do you know if this can be used for the 04-06 non ralliart lancer with the 4g94? it would make life so much easier to live tune!!!

 

There are already tuning options for the 4g94, there is very little for the 4g69...hackish chose to support the 4g69 lancer, as well as the 4g eclipse for the very reason that there was no support for it...


I know you guys use Evo ROMs for turbocharging, but if you want to just tune the engine without boosting, is there support for that?

 

I mean there used to be the big map for the auto 02-04 lancers i guess you could use for an N/A lancer....but i was wondering for the 4g94 because it looks like the 4G69 can do live tuning with fastworks?

 

Live tuning, if I remember correctly only works with certain years of Mitsubishi ECU's...I could be wrong, but the version I'm currently using does not allow me to live tune...I still need to shut off the engine and reflash for every change...

 

Hey, could you tune it using ecuflash? Do you need the mmc?
