I am also amused by "Digressive Blow Off (tm)". No one else thought of that, they are the first

I found the dyno sheet for my left rear shock (it's the only one I got). These are valved for 12k springs per PSI.

Would like to point out how pointless that graph is. The .225m/sec data point is 8.85in/sec. I know we see higher shaft speeds than that.

I just received my coilovers in the mail yesterday from Performance Shock! These are definitely some nice pieces and can't wait to get them on the car and see what they're all about.

Custom Valved
12kg/14kg

I hate to get these things dirty, they're works of art!

12k/14k is a good rate. I've run a ton of different rate setups and now run really close to that as well.

I will probably bump up to that when my car no longer sees so much street use.

Haha, I totally forgot that I'm slightly off of those 12kg/14kg #'s since I went with Eibach springs. 700# fronts, 800# rears if that helps!

We'll see how well these Ohlins live up to their ride quality at these rates! My car will see very little street action and strangely enough, I'm one of the few people out there that like a seriously firm ride even when on the street. My back my disagree that statement at times, however!

Tires should be here next week...then I hope to finalize the rear fenders with fitting these wheels/tires.

I still run DOT tires, so haven't gone with higher rates.
Are you autoxing the car or running R-comps, by chance?

Yes sir, I was wanting to go the 285/30/18 RE71R route, but since you can't find them anywhere in that size currently, I am going with Hoosier A7's. $1300 +/- for the RE71R's vs $14XX for the A7's. It's hard to justify not going to the A7, although it would have been nice to leave the 18x10.5's on for street driving too. It's all about compromises.

Autox will be it's primary focus THIS season. Depending upon the time/budget, I'd like to get in a few track days as well.

considering use and tire choice, I'm no longer surprised at the rates lol
I've seen CRAAAZY rates for AX. Like "may as well delete the shocks" crazy lol
You should see them slalom, though.

Without going into too much detail of who makes these. Thoughts on this?
