Why did they get pulled over?

Are you riding in the Evo with them? Do you edit the vids while you're driving from track to track?

They had a headlight out and Andy was running something like 95 mph. Just a bit over the speed limit.

Anywho, they wiped the field at Gingerman. Final results show them winning by 5 seconds over second place.

Amazing the little EVO kicking the *** of the Vipers, GTR's, Porsches, Vettes, Mustangs, Camaros, and so on. And doing it on 1/2 to 1/3 the horsepower. There has to be some magic in that engine we loaned them.

What were the rules? Street tires, and have to drive it to each event?

Well the stock engine wasn't too shabby either. If you didn't catch it, Andy lost 4th and 5th gear so he ran 3 laps in 3rd at 8000 rpm! That's pretty darn stout.

we had some oil blow out of the catch can earlier in the week and that got on the shifter bushings. Dogbox wants to shift fast/harder than normal gearbox. This caused the shifter linkage on trans to pop out of the rubber bushing. 3rd was probably the best gear to be stuck in and with no chance for a do-over, I pressed on. Oddly enough we still finished that sessions with an overall 2nd place finish. This was my home track so I had an advantage.

So much...more...awesome. Craig and I spoke yesterday about the events unfolding right when the motor let go so big shout out to the Lakeland evo brethren for stepping in. If any of you have issues in the Road Atlanta area again we'll gather the forces and make ourselves available!

My favorite part of following this whole thing, is no matter the obstacle you overcome and seem to still enjoy yourselves.
