One Lap of America 2017
why is that control arm twisted? There is a lot more to the story here. Waiting for some more pics/videos to surface.
Also, the coilovers on that car are not a mass production unit, they are some one-off stuff, not used/tested on anything else.
FWIW- we've ran the wisefab stuff pretty hard and have not seen a failure yet. Ran all of one lap and has been on my evo which sees 295 Hoosier A7's and additional aero loading.

The twist would be from the arm buckling which is exactly how I would predict that part failing. Aluminum likes to bend not shear because its a ductile material.
I just keep coming back to the fact there are 100s of coilovers for evo's on the market. From the cheapest to the exotic, I have never seen a body fail without a crash. Of course that doesn't mean its not possible and perhaps its not possible we'll ever know.

Do us a favor & give those arms a good inspection for any signs of deformation / cracking etc
Joe

I mentioned to Dallas in PMs that I thought it was a combination of swaybar loading bending the arm and brake loading ripping it back. I would not run the Wisefab arm on my Evo. It looks way too wimpy. Its fascinating to see that the Wisefab arms on the RS Motors Evo held up to all those events. My guess is that they will fail sooner rather than later.
