Hey guys. I recently picked up an 05 evo that is running v7 SD. While driving I've noticed the cel would flash slowly stating it was picking up knock. I used the newest version of ecuflash and a 2.0 cable DL the rom off the car but am unable to see it even if set to highest level. I tried to DL the xml files for v7 to put into my xml files but it's not allowing me to open it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be great.

Is it an Evo 8 or 9 ?

If its an 8 download 9147 v7 and 9653 v7 sd version xmls
It will work.

 

Thanks for the reply. Yes it's an evo 8. It's running the newest v7 SD with a file ending in .srf. I have installed all v7 xml files and evo 8 roms but am still not able to view my maps. Here are some screen shots of the error I'm getting as well as all xml I have put into the rommetadata file.

I spoke with OP over email just after my last post. It was a 9417... OP had 2 directory's for XML's. He cleaned that up and had access straight away.

 

Good news that its sorted out. The map looks like he was running E85 .
This map isnt for pump gas for sure.
