Actually, I sent an e-mail on Friday (yesterday) to Forge UK asking about the status of the prototypes, but I have yet to hear anything back yet.

I'll let you guys know as soon as I do!

Unfortunately, the last I heard was that the prototypes are still being worked on.

I know the entire Evo community is dying for this product (consider me as one of you) so I am pushing really hard to have this done as soon as possible, but I don't have an exact ETA as of yet, and unfortunately, I have no control of the prototyping nor production as this is all handled in the UK.

I will call the UK Monday morning and find out, though.

Look for a post around 10 AM (EST) Monday!

Trust me, I'm just as desperate for these as the rest of you!

Ok, I know I'm an hour late on the update, but here goes:

The ducts are still being worked on and finalized. Apparently one side is complete and the other is almost done.

I have been told I will have prototypes in-hand for test fitment and testing within 2-3 weeks. Once I have them, my plan is to put them through their paces for at least two weeks.

The difficulty is the number of projects Forge UK is working on at the moment. They're trying to wrap up a couple other ongoing things as well, but this one is near the top of the list.

I have also been told everyone will be very pleased with the price point of the kits once they are released. It appears we can manufacture them pretty cost effectively!

I will keep you up to date as I am given more info!

Thanks for the update.

Definately let us know how the prototypes work and, if you get a chance, definately snap some pics of them.

Who makes these plates? Where can I buy it? I made my own for my other car, but it took to long to get right so now I'd prefer just to buy it. High temp silicone hose can be gotten at any race shop so that is not a problem....

Thanks.

Damn, those things look sweet! It'd be nice if you sold a whole kit that included everything someone would need to do an install, including air horn inlets, mounts, and reinforced tubing.

The problem with including inlets/horns/funnels/ etc. is that most people will have different ideas for installation and many people will also have non-standard front bumpers, so designing and manufacturing those components to be compatible with every conceivable application is next to impossible.

We will be offering a standardized kit that each person will need to adapt to their application (front bumper).
