ill give u additional pointer to help u....

1.pay attention to where the cable comes out of the firewall... that can be a major source of pedal stiffness if u bend it too much...

2.pay attention to where the cable connects to the throttle body, that should also go in very straight at the end....

goodluck!

Gotta make sure you have the cable routed as smooth as possible or your throttle may stick.....happened to me.

I'm still scared to do this mod, upon reading this thread I wet outside and relocated my cable, now 24 hours later I put it back to the stock location.

I think this mod looks great, but I need to be sure that in the long run I wont be hurting the car....

Its just a cable. As long as its not binding or catching it can't hurt anything.

Its possible that relocating it could increase the friction and cause it to wear out faster. But if routed well and no sharp bends there should be no issues.

Did mine today & took a few pics. Pedal feels stock so I doubt there is going to be any binding problem. I routed mine in a large "S" shape to keep the bends smooth. The cable bracket from the valve cover was relocated to the solenoid on the firewall. I also zip tid the cable to the wire harness on top of the intake to cut down on movement. I have a couple of paint chips from where the bracket was, but not too bad.
