HUGE developments on Ecuflash for the X

Hey guys, just thought I'd put this in here for everyone else as interested as I am. it looks like theres an EDM X rom floating around and its being quickly disassembled. here is the thread from the ECUFLASH forum

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=350093

Couple that with the fact that the Cable will be released 6/15/08. Thats in 8 days!!! It looks like we may have ECUFLASH available within a month!!!

BIG THANKS to EFIXMR as he is just tearing through the decoding to find the load values.

-Steve

Great! It would be nice if someone made a basic and advance how to on tuning with such software once it's available so that more people become familiar with the art of tuning.

Ecuflash for the previous evos lets you control almost everything with the stock ecu. A/F, Timing, Boost, Limits (Rev, speed, boost etc), and a LOT of other goodies. There are even patches so that you can have your CEL flash if knock occurs. One thing is for sure: you can easily control boost with the X and its twin solenoid.

I would suggest everyone to at least visit the ECUFLASH subforum in EvoM and read through the sticky threads. The basics are similar.

Enough of all this Evo talk ... who is going to help me disassemble my Forester XT ROM?

j/k

... good to see progress being made this early into the X's lifespan. Had this kind of progress been around with the Evo VIII, it would have saved me a lot of $$ and headaches...
