AccessPORT is the first hand-held device available for the EVO X that performs an ECU reflash through the vehicle’s OBDII port. Just plug it in, load the maps and go! Faster! The AccessPORT can be used to eliminate separation anxiety for those times you are away from your car. Protect your investment when out on the town by quickly loading the Valet map to prevent the engine from revving above 3,200 rpm. Load the Anti-Theft map when you park to make it impossible to start. And in the event the car must be returned to the stock configuration, the AccessPORT can be completely removed and the ECU restored to its factory condition.

hmm.question.. i live where there are no tuners for the evo x and i was considering a mail in flash. With this device, you are saying that all i have to do is buy it and i get maps? Please explain. Who supplies these maps? Or do i just have to wait till people design maps and i will use access port to flash them in?

I have a reflash from WORKS. Had my boost hose changed. If i get the accessport, would i have to change it back to stock?

We are very excited after reviewing the beta software last week it has everything that Ecutek has as far as tuning with all the familiar Cobb goodies like being able to flash back to stock on demand and hold a extra race gas map etc typical Cobb goodness

The monitor function is also a huge plus as you wont need a dedicated boost gauge with the on board map sensor

If you are going to use a Cobb or vendor created base map - yes

If you are going to get a custom pro tune - no

Otherwise a MBC will resolve your issues with no problem and hold better boost up top
