blown clutch

blown clutch

hey everyonee.....i tried driving my car after adjusting the pedal to see if i could fix my preivious issue when it revs for a while but doesnt go anywhere.....but after i adusted the pedal the car doesnt go anywhere....i tried getting into first gear and the car just sits there and revs but doesnt go anywhere...i can smell something burning coming from under the hood ....i think its a blown clutch

Yea its a blown clutch i have the same problem right now too but mine is just slipping but its still driveable but if i get into boost it will rev up and not go anywhere. What clutch are you on? Im on a stock clutch so thats y mine went out so fast.

Your probably right, it might be a blown clutch.

^In the same boat as both of you, do some research on the ACT HDSS; stock to moderate pedal feel and will easily withstand 500+tq. Talk to Scott @ TTP Engineering, he will hook you up, but hurry because ACT just jacked up their prices...

The clutch went out at 50,500miles and i just been driving it easy till i get my twin disc in next week.

ya mine just went out at like 58,000 milesss....its gonna cost a **** load of money

Yea it is expensive i was thinking of the ACT or the Comp stage 4 but i just said ill wait and save more and get the quarter master...yea i blew mine out at the track to lol i did 6 passes and it was gone...i probably never should have raced with the stock clutch i knew it was gunna not hold.
