Parts recommendation for a semi built Evo

Hi guys. I'd like to ask for recommendations on new parts. I have been slowly building the Evo since 2008. I just love modding cars. So please let me know what you think would be good next! thanks!

Goals: Mostly show. Track functional.

1)I don't track often. 3-5 times a year max.

2)I'd like to track more in the future. The Evo was my DD.. I just bought a DD so I'm starting to mod more aggressively.

3) I mod both ways.. for power and for show. whenever my OEM breaks, I usually upgrade to better aftermarket.

4) Turbo upgrade will wait. I want to enjoy my current powerband. ~330whp. I think it's a good city speed.

Current Mods: I recently ordered a ton of CF "show" parts.. most are made to order.. everything should be done by December 2017.

I think I can do a few suspension upgrades? bars n such?

or cooling upgrade? radiator? hoses? fans?

I want to get a better alarm system.. any recommendations? I'm thinking about going with Viper, but I hear you lose the keyless entry function?

Have you done the whiteline roll center kit yet? Thinking about doing that on my car over the winter. Do you have any pictures of how the beatrush rear bulk head plate fits with your autopower rollbar?

Get a dedicated set of track rims/ tires and some track brake pads. That will dramatically impact your track experience...

The RC kit is a good idea. You might look at engine mounts and bushings too. Car will be more responsive though you'll have some vibration.

Camber plates for the Ohlins - or is that the Whiteline reference?

Turbo kit?

What springs rates are on the Ohlins? The whiteline RCK and PSRS would be a good idea. Possibly a 24mm rear swaybar.

As said above, a dedicated set of track wheels/tires/pads/rotors.

And for track use, you need to get a surge tank ASAP. E85 + track in the Evo X will lead to fuel starvation and blown up engine. No bueno.

Cooling upgrades like a radiator from CSF, and an oil cooler upgrade (Setrab) would also be a good idea.

here ya go. fitment is perfect. however, the bulk head plates does rattle a little against the trunk subwoofer. you hear it more when sitting idle. exhaust pretty much covers it

thanks guys! I'll look into those parts. specially those whiteline parts. been researching them lately.

I have the stock rims for track. getting some fatter tires. I'll look into dedicated pads and cooling.

for my Ohlins, it's on stock settings. I see people have professionals tune their coilover. Is that something worth doing?

I appreciate the pictures of your rollbar and bulk plate fitment. Looks really good! I'll be ordering the bulk plate now. Hahaha

Like the others said. I would recommend the rear sway bar, but also End Links(stock ones are not adjustable and several people have reported them failing on track days). I have the Hotchkis rear sway bar and endlinks and it really improved my understeer.

For brake pads I have used various Ferodo pads and the Girodisc ST43's. The ST43's are a little cheaper and have more bite. But just a disclaimer, heavy brake usage on the track can discolor your calipers(saw you had your powder coated). I also added brake cooling ducts to help with keeping the temps down(may have reduced some of the caliper discoloring).

I used my stock rims and tires to track starting out, but have 3 sets of 18x10.5 +15 (with rolled rear fenders) that I run now with 275/35/18 tires. I want to try some 18x9.5 +15, cause should be a little lighter and still allow you to run a good size tire. Also running -3 FR camber and -2 Rr camber.

For your Ohlin's, buy a set of 10k springs to put on the rear, and yes, a professional chassis tune (corner balance and alignment) is well worth it. If you can afford, having your chassis guy at the track to monitor your tire temps and set pressures and tweak the alignment can really help manage tire wear.

For a surge tank, Radium engineering makes the best solution IMO, it's pretty much a bolt in solution with a little bit of wiring.

#1 first mod before an E85 Evo 10 ever hits a track is a surge tank.
