At first I thought Warr was rude, but after being here for a while, I actually look forward to his sarcasm. No one can deny that he gives useful information, and he has helped me on several occasions.

i read the first 2 pages and then skipped to the end, and maybe i missed it, but what's the point of this thread?!?!

is there anything to gain from having a poll about who agrees/disagrees with you? whats gonna happen to Warralton after this lame poll is finished? just seems like a lame attempt to get attention.

and no, i don't drive an evo, but i do read most of the threads, and Warralton is guilty of nothing but being honest. if you don't like it then too bad

you're not gonna get along with everybody in the world. the sooner you learn it, the better off you'll be....

As I got to know Clay, I have seen that he is a person very dedicated to helping others in the Evo community and also a guy who takes a lot of time to help out other guys. Also, he has been honest 100% and trustworthy.

At this point I can say a few points

#1 - It is s a shame that this forum allows this thread to continue at all which is basically 15 pages of insults and name calling. I have a hard time to really appreciate how guys like myself and David Buschur can get banned responsding to threads and comments like the ones in here. It seems you can get away with insulting someone on here as long as you dont call them a foul name. There are many comments on this thread which I feel should be deleted and th poster banned. I guess I am just a participant here so I have to go with the flow, however, on my new forums I dont tolerate any of this type of drama.

#2 - The fact that this kind of drama filled thread which has nothing to do with evos quickly fills pages and pages of hateful comments shows me where the majority of your heads are at. Its like a train wreck mentality over here. We have a genious like Jason Seibles on the AEM forum making great observations on how to tune evos and NO ONE is interested meanwhile a SOAP OPERA like drama thread like this one garners hundereds of views.

#3 - There are a lot of jealous people out there. Dont be a HATER - just becuase Clay got himself and his car sponsored by many major shops and companies does not mean you have to hate on him.

Please. if you dont like the guy - dont read waht he writes.

The truth is I have had dozens of customers who have told me that Clay wasvery helpful to them and spent a lot of time working with them to get their car set up perfect.

Thanks

I could not agree more....lets end this thread its POINTLESS. Come on mods lock it up already and throw away the key. BTW-welcome back Al.

I voted I don't agree. Warr is my kind of dude. He says it like he sees it. If you want extra sugar with your advice, you should be posting on the Oxygen forum.

Why is it so hard to see it is an issue here for so many people. BS and good info as well as knowledge aside from Warr, he has been rude to many people and they (regardless of thin skin or soft feelings) do not like it. People want a change in attitude in general on this forum.

I'll tell you what, let's have a thread with a poll put up with just the rude issue for those who have issues with Warr and no comments in the thread at all. When all is said and done, those results will be viewed by the mods and appropriate action( actually mediation by the mods on the issue) be taken against him or anyone else being less than socially acceptable on this forum. There is such a thing as socially acceptable behavior, internet or not. Being helpful, but degrading someone is not cool. And yes some do take things out of context.

If none is acceptable, I suggest all those who have this "rude behavior" issue with Warr or anyone else for that matter needs to complain to the mods. This is really the only way that it will be resolved without fanboys and haters alike to be involved. This forum used to be a hotbed for innovation, knowledge, and fun and is now has been degraded to many flame threads or threads full of people fighting around every corner. I for one am tired of having to sift throught the nonsense to get info in some cases. And for those that say just ignore it, how can you ignore something that you have to continually read through(for those who actually search) to get to the good info? Some people really don't care, they just go about their business on this forum. Good for you. Most people do have a bit of self respect and it is very bothersome to be called out or offended in most cases for no reason(some do deserve it, but still not acceptable). We aren't Vulcans, people do have feelings internet or not. And why should people who are offended have to leave the forum if they don't agree with rude behavior?? What about the other way around?? The point is, regardless of your view in what is socially acceptable behavior some on this forum really need some social etiquite skills training.

As for not sugar coating it, try that at the work place or on real people in the real world and see how badly that ends in most cases. Eventually you will crap out and find yourself on the pavement or without a job. There is a way to deliver info, even if you are being direct. Sugar coating it has nothing to do with it. You can be "Very Direct" as I am in real life, and not come across as a pompass self rightous..well you know the rest. People skills is what it is called, and it seems to be an ancient fading social skill. Respect for others is quickly disappearing from social circles and work place enviroments. For those who can't see this, you are at the root of the problem and really must not have any home training. Internet or not, have enough dignity and self respect about yourself to treat others right.

reminds me of one of my favorite sayings...

"you can sugar-coat a suppository all you want but it's not going to help the situation."

Dayton, that is really some of the most amazingly sensitive and weak comments I've seen in this thread. I mean come on...I can understand wanting decent behavior, but asking for all this socially acceptable etiquette is unbelievable. Do you not realize this is the Internet? Why are people allowed to come on the board and break all the rules and be lazy but then I'm not allowed to be stern or firm? This is not a Peace Corps rally. You've really swung the pendulum all the way to the opposite side. Those comments really do sound like something from the Oxygen channel, and that's just being straight up honest.

people just act diff when they r on the internet, they act tough and talk a lot of **** because in real life, they r too scary to do it. I learn a long time ago not to lose sleep over what people say on the internet. I bet some people would get their teeth knock out if they talk the way they do in real life. "REPECT", this is what is really missing on forum.

Warr....as I said, when I reread that post it did not seem as bad as I remember. I am sure if I searched hard enough I could find the ones where we did resort to some verbal abuse. But the fact remains that one year later....I still remember it.

I wont post anymore nonsense in this thread.
