Who are the Moderators? Who picked them?
I will leave this thread with this
I am an admin on my own local forum with about 10,000 members. When theses situations arise we take action as well. What he said was a broad statement. Not a personal one. You have to take that out of the equation. He is not upset at you. He is upset at the way you are conducting your position. I had a 20 minute phone conversation with Ali today regarding the past days events. You would not believe the egg shells that some of these people are going to have to walk on to make their voices heard.
This Site is visited by 50,000 people. All vendors like AMS pay money so that our products and services can be viewed by these 50,000 members. The proper action is simply not being taken to get the truth to the public. There is so much red tape its becomes infinitely easier for a disgruntled customer to simply lick his wounds and move on instead of actually posting for the public to view and base decisions accordingly.
I understand that misinformation kills this place. I also understand that in order to curb that you gentlemen are put in your respective positions of power. All we are asking is take the time to let the point be heard and the dribble be eliminated rather then deleting the entire post because it’s easier.
I know that one closed or deleted thread leads to three or four more that open up in response. It’s a lot of work, nobody is saying anything otherwise. It’s the job of the moderator not only to make the vendors happy that are paying to be here but to make the Members happy.... let be honest if those members were not here….there isn’t a vendor on this site that would be here as well.
As I said in our thread in the AMS Forum:
It is imperative that the members of this site use the Vendor and tuning review forum. It’s there to report your findings and experiences. You MUST NOT bash. Please dig down and conduct an intellectual and informative post. You are there to be heard. The longer that post stays up the more people will hear your words. It’s that simple. A slanderous comment, ignorant statement or threat will simply negate everything you came there to do, not only give the vendor in question a loophole to shut it down. If you that have been wronged follow this there isn’t a moderator or admin on this site that can strike you down!

I do think that smokedmustang has a point here. The newbies will never get a chance learn from that post. I'm not bashing the mods but maybe instead of deleting that thread it could have just been closed. Maybe even cleaned up some of the trash in the thread. People have a right to know the good and the bad of these vendors.

as for Kevin, if you read his comments again you will see why i am upset. i really don't care if he is upset with me or if he thinks that i am doing a crappy job. however, saying that maybe it is time to get new mods because the old mod club reeks is just wrong and rude...
