Who are the Moderators? Who picked them?

I am just curious on who they are, how they got picked, and if it is "slanted" towards one tuner or another.

To all Moderators, who tuned your cars? Who deletes the most threads? Just want to know who our "police" are.

VTECH8TR is cool, Buschur parts, AEM TUNED.
Otter has Lancer, and is also cool.

Don't know much about the rest though. I just wonder if "What should be banned" as far as threads go, if there is a "bias" opinion to shut a thread down, or delete/remove it sooner than it should be. People could benefit (without flaming) from some of the threads I have seen get pulled.

i will speak up. i was chosen and recommanded by Hobie 3 years ago. i had an 03' evo just when they came out. i no longer drive an evo (got married and needed the money). all mods are chosen after the admins and the other mods take a vote and look at actions on this site. the mods are non biased and need to have good communication skills. as for the most deleted threads, i couldn't tell you. we have our guidlines and any thread that violates the rules gets deleted or closed. as for the vendors, the only people that deal with the vendor issues are the admins and the super mods and all of us have been here for a long time and have experience with all the vendors. i can honestly say that non of us is "slanted" toward any of the vendors even if some of us have certain parts on our own cars.

Any post with anything bad about Al seems to be deleted in a flash (get it...) around here.

almost forgot, everytime a thread gets reported, we all get an email telling us who reported it and why. i can tell you right now that i get about 20-30 emails a day about threads and if there is a thread like a fight between the vendors, i can get anywhere from 40-60 emails just on that thread alone.

I've driven a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT before, I thought it was a nice car. ( sunglass worthy )

But if you need something more off road capable and durable, a 2005 toyota 4runner should serve it's purpose well. ( also sunglass worthy )
