Noobs and the quest for 50 posts
I think it's a far enough rule just to keep the spammers out of the market area. I'm a member of mazda247.com also and they don't have the 50 post rule so you get spammers and scammers(using new names who've been kick off the forums before) that just anoy legit members who are trying to conduct business. But one thing that the Mazda forum has the evom doesn't is when you go to sell something in the market place you have to post up proper pics( forum name, your screen name, and date) on a piece of paper which helps with the scam factor. Besides if you want to buy something all you have to do is pm the OP. No biggie

i think the hardest part about getting to 50 post is that from what I was told posting in your newbie thread or a thread like NTEC do not count towards your actually post count so you lose out on getting to 50 faster.
but it still says 7.....so sad to bad!
well anyways i was gonna come in here for my fiftieth post and say some kinda awesome line like " I have the POWWA!" to make fifty cuz i figured that would be the most awesome 50 post ever but i now realize that it wont count and that all this typing is only going to make someone giggle and not get me a 50 post count, kinda sad in a way but i guess i will go "contribute" to the great cause somehow and make my fifty. Now the mods are going to be watching my posts like hawks waiting for my 50 post, soon as the see my fifty post say like "oh thats cool +1" ill watch it get deleted and be back to 49 again! lol

It isn't hard to get to 50, you just need to know what you are talking about in technical forums. Sure it doesn't hurt to have been working on cars for a long time. I have been a member here for a little while but I recently started becoming more active and the count goes up. Spend more time in Drag, Dyno or Engine and you will have your 50 posts in no time.
