Nothing should preventing you from posting at this point. One of the most common mistakes people make is accidentally trying to post in the vendor evo sections rather than the private marketplace. Try it again under the private marketplace and take screenshots if it doesn't work.

Good luck!

Unfortunately the OP did not follow the rules with his FS pix, so his threads were deleted.

BartMan, please make sure you understand the requirements before reposting, they are listed at the top of every FS forum page.

try craigslist and sell there, you guys are both in very populated areas .....why bother with the forums? deal local avoid 99% of scams. If we let everyone post a FS thread with 0 posts there would be more spam and scams. I know you think your ease of use is more important than the health of the forum.....but yeah, it's not.

What I found a little frustrating is the post count tracking statistics and inconsistency in faq pages. I originally read https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/fa...for_sale_forum and assumed I only needed 15 posts, but https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...-click-me.html says I need 50 posts. Then I look at my statistics and the number of posts I've made doesn't align with the number of posts I've made. My stats posts said 31 at the time of writing this while when I search for all posts with my username it hits 75. I may have had an off topic post or two but not 44 so whatever crawler is determining the numbers is lackluster imo or I'm totally missing something

I fixed the link to reflect the update. We tried to get all of them updated, and apparently missed one. With regards to the inconsistency - it's very consistent. Anything that doesn't contribute to technical discussion does not count. That includes regional, miscellaneous, show and shine, etc.

Perhaps the validation is very consistent and visible from an administrative perspective. However, that points to the lack of transparency for the end user when it comes to understanding post evaluation. For example, my post yesterday in this thread did not count towards my posts total. I felt it was contributive to the topic at hand, but undoubtedly it didn’t meet the criteria. I have no qualms with strict validation, but insight into why posts are not considered valid would enable users to adapt their posting styles to meet the system’s standard.

I also understand the difficulties associated with maintaining integrity in an open environment since my career involves writing web apps that are distributed world-wide. Through my experience, I’ve found there is a balance between strict validation and impairing the user experience and Evolutionm.net has felt a bit the latter at times.

In the end, it just left me feeling scrutinized without recourse and in turn marred my opinion of that part of the site. Overall, I am very happy with Evolutionm.net because of its rich community of members and well managed forums.

This ain't craigslist for Evos..

This site is for people that are interested in the Lancer/ Evolution. The post count is on here to slow people who just want to sell, or buy parts. There are enough posts on here about shady transactions, and it's getting worse by the day!
You can usually tell when someone is just on here to sell crap. Just go to the show section, and you will see the same person comment on every car in there. That and they comment on a dyno chart.." that turbo is the best", or" Buschur is the best man!"

N

P.S. To the OP, you should be able to post having been on here for 5 years! Being on a forum, it wouldn't kill you to be a little more social..but I understand wanting to read and learn from others also!
