Disclaimer for this site???

Word is, that Mitsu reps monitor these types of boards, racing rosters, and such, to find people abusing their Evos. Of course, I think we all agree this is kinda shady. What happens frequently on the web, where there's file sharing and such, and people fear investigators spying on their activities, is that the people sharing files will have a disclaimer on their server, saying that all law inforcement, family of, affiliates of, hirees of, etc etc. cannot view files on that server. Some of these disclaimers look like an attorney drafted them, and could truly protect people against possible criminal prosecution.

Could a disclaimer be attached to someone's membership on this site, and then prevent Mitsu from using our posts against us? That may require that only registerd users can view the forums. I think it's BS we should have to be afraid of talking over the web. Lets get some rights back, shall we? Lets take a vote!

I agree. Mitsu is just doing this because they are going under and want to cut as many corners as possible, which means finding every way they can to void our warranties. Theres a whole thread dedicated to people who have had their warranty unfairly voided.

disclaimers don't work as well as you might think. evidence gathered from a public internet site is probably fair game in court, whether the site had a disclaimer or not.

My Disclaimer:

I have never driven my Evolution past any applicable speed limit. I always drive in a car-friendly manner. Anytime that I may have talked about fast driving, road racing, drag racing or just plain crazy driving in general I was lying to get respect. On any occasion that it seemed I was disgruntled with Mistubishi Motor Corp. I apologize. Oh and the mods listed below is a wholly fabricated statement with the lame intention of gaining more popularity on this site.

I think it would be hard for them to figure out who is who, and there is no way the folks who run evolutionm are going to give Mitsubishi our info.
