Hey EVOTEXAS, why dont we meet at the track? U get ur turbotrix tuned and I get AL to tune my evo. Lets do it. I like to beat the crap out of u.... I'm usually friendly, but you really hack me up dude...

Turbotrix gets more customers than they will ever want. Plus, from Houston to Dallas is a long drive in case you dont know!!!! 4 freakin hours there and back is not something I would like to do. That's 50 bucks of gas that I dont have to spend, and another 100 bucks for the motel. So far, that's 150 bucks + 400 for the tuning = 550. That's just being conservative my friend. So approximately 600 bucks and all I get is 1 hour on the dyno? Any road tune? WTF?????

If my evo brothers have any kind of common sense, that's not a good deal!!!!!! I go for the best bang for my dollars... PEACE!!!!!!!!!!

 

Beat the crap out of me? Physically or race-wise? I'm game for either. BTW, I drive to Houston about once a month. Don't be such a ***** whining about the drive.

Physical fight is fine with me, but that is quite childish in my book. And trust me, u dont want to go there.

Hey man you're confusing what I said with someone else. I never said you talk bad about TT.

 

Actually, that sounds like a pretty cool idea! We just have to figure out a common track to each cities.

And to the point of robbing TT of customers, that was never an issue in this whole thread. It was about a lot of effort put into organizing something just to have some dude jump on and ask everyone not to go. It's about perception, guy. Peace.

 

I can't win. I had my car dynoflashed while in DC this summer. Was every happy with it and Al. Added some stuff, now need a retune. TT is coming down when I will be on vacation in PA, now Al. damn.

 

Just another reason why it's silly to have it on the exact same wekend....

 

I had Al street-tune my car. Made me wait almost 2hrs after my appointed time because he didnt want to wait under 5min for my car to get put back together. (installing a fuel pump.. quick install) Then he took like 20min to tune it and said "there you go have fun" I drove it and it actually felt slower after I got it back, but I was thinking it was maybe just me. Then I realized how rich it was running. You say conservative like it is a good thing, I mean conservative like it is running so rich that you could easily retune it and gain 15whp.

I am sure Al thinks he knows what he is doing, but he just started in the car business a year ago. He used to be a lawyer. Take everything he says with a grain of salt because of his law background. He knows how to smooth talk and try to get you on his side. Just remember that. I would trust someone to tune my car all over again with the new mods who has a shop car that runs 9s all day long over someone who has their car tuned by a bunch of different people and gets Buschur parts on his car and still runs mid to high 10s. Just my opinion though.

Y'all might talk to TT about possibly staying a week here and then heading down to H-town the following weekend. That way they arent tired and y'all can get a proper tune.

Oh, and by the way. EvoTexas and I had nearly identical mods and dynoed on the same day on the same dyno back-to-back (so weather and temp and whatnot would not be a factor). I put down 276whp on a mustang dyno on 93 octane. Evotexas put down 296whp with 93 octane... 308 when he put in some C16. I still have the custom tune by Al and he has a mail in flash from TT as the only variable between the two cars.

 

yea so how about a EVO texas SHOOT OUT NORTH vs. SOUTH sounds fun......
and plus if TT is thinking about COMING down to houston they should call up SGP racing they have a AWD dyno =P
