I think you guys that are going to pay someone to do it should use the guy Local Dealers use to come and fix fine scratches etc. - these guys are usually awesome and know what they are doing with auto paint; vs. the "Detailing Shops" that prefer orbital sanders

 

Ok, again, know of any local to me? I'd be all for that if someone could point me in the right direction...

 

Go to the local Porsche dealer (or the closest) - and ask who they use for scratches and the such; that's the guy you want detailing your car. They travel from dealer to dealer - so he'll probably have to do it on a Dealer's lot. Probably be more $$$; however, you get what you pay for!

 

Well, I was trying to save $$$ but this is def worth keeping in mind if I decide to splurge... thx.

and read up on detailing procedures - the"How to" sections! Larry is the owner; a former Chem-E & extremely helpful person! Remember, a lot of the stuff is for garaged kept & show cars, but you get a better understanding
