Test pipe on IX.

What is the best test pipe for the IX. I just bought a perrin test pipe and i relized that the stock cat has the o2 sencer in the middle of it. The test pipe doesn't have any o2 bunge.

go take your perrin tp to a muffler shop and pay them to make a bunge. or you can do it yourself. drill a hole. lol

yeah you got 2 option but will just lead to 1 option, the main reason you want the o2 sensor is so it doesn't throw a CEL light right? so here are your options:

1. Muffler Shop, install the o2 sensor (making sure it clears the chassis of the car with your o2 bung, if not during high G's the o2 will slam against the chassis and ground itself and your left blowing fuses not knowing why.)

2. Cat back exhaust which has a bung on it already, going back to option 1 you'll run into the same problem like i did i have a HKS Carbon Ti exhaust where i was blowing fuses at the track for an hour not knowing why.

3. hahhaaha there actually a third option i just remember if you don't want to go to all the problem i mention above. Sell you HFC and get a Aspec one the bungs already welded on their HFC and they come with Bungs to plug up the exhaust bung if you ever get around to getting one.

Good Luck.

I guess i will go the DIY way and use the test pipe. I just thought that I would still throw a cell.
