Official AMS tune thread for 3/31/07
I'm looking forward to it...I still need to get all my stuff put on the car though which I should have done well before the 31st of March.
This should hold me off from buying anything else for...a couple months or so.

Anyone else?
If we need to, I may be able to do one or two on monday as well before my flight leaves.
If you have not yet put your deposit down, you NEED to give us a call so we can confirm your APPT. Technically, you do not have an appt until we get your deposit

Ok, everyone's all paid up on their deposits. Thanks guys {tumbup} 3 slots still open for Sunday so if you're on the fence about things now's the time to figure out what you're going to do. We've got a great weekend ahead of us and I can't wait to see everybody
Well, keep your fingers crossed. It's rainy today and it is supposed to be the same tomorrow and into Saturday morning. The good thing is that if it's rainy and overcast, there will be close to no aircraft traffic. Since we have a long runway, will it still be Ok for road tuning purposes?
I mean we don't have to worry about other vehicular traffic and we'll have PLENTY of room for slowing down after pulls. I doubt highly that any's car will have so much HP/TQ that it will be able to break loose in third gear, right? Especially from 2000-2500 RPM...

No worries with the rain, we will not be hindered by it. I am pretty sure we will be able to keep all four tires from breaking loose on the stock ecu.
-Chris
Thats the whole reason I'm getting the tune is to be able to break the tires loose at my will! C'mon Chris!
BTW--I haven't been able to do that boost leak test. I bought all the stuff from recommended on a thread on this website...well all the sizes were wrong. So I had to put everything back together again on the car. Have school and work all day tomorrow so we'll have to see what happens Saturday morning.
My wideband doesn't always go to 10:1 in open loop, sometimes it sticks to 11.XX:1--it's usually at 6-7k when it hits 10:1 on the AFR.

Boost leak and compression tests tomorrow after I get out to the Dr. guys. I can start at noon. Tomorrow is dedicated to last minute tweaks, preferably not last minute installs
Oh and Chris, we're having nice warm days with pleasantly cool nights.
Oh and guys please, if you have an outstanding balance with AMS, bring the exact amount you owe them separate of the $50 runway rental fee in cash. Tony and I will not be able to make change for you.
