Heya Josh,

I wasn't going to be available to do the test with you on Friday due to school and work that day. So I actually got right stuff at Lowe's to do the boost leak test myself after measuring everything on the car. Only cost around 8 bucks to make the adaptor, 3 minutes to drill and put it together, and about 30 minutes to do the test. No leaks for me sir!

See you guys around 9am Saturday morning!

Oh and I just want to say thanks to Josh for taking time to go around to EVERYONE and help to get the cars in proper order. He's a great asset to the community!

MRevo2006,

Do you think you could bring your boost leak tester with you tomorrow? switched my tune time with QAT-R because I need to install plugs in the morning and wanted to let the car cool down a bit so I won't be getting tuned until 2:00pm. Never did get a chance to have Josh boost test so if you get a chance to bring yours I'd really appreciate it. If not I'll just have to go with what I have....

Thanks,

Tony

Hey guys, thanks again for getting all this put together. I had a good--but short--time. I was hoping to do the before and after runs that Josh was talking about to see how much faster the car was but it didn't look like that was going to be a good idea with all the "angry neighbors" out there.

Hopefully we'll all be able to get together again soon.

Matt! -- I'll be seeing that vid soon right?

You guys make me proud to be part of this community . We got everyone's car squared away and then some Thanks to Tony,Chris, and all of those involved, this turned out to be the single most productive and smooth running tune event I've been part of to date. Looking forward to a continuing relationship with AMS as a viable tuning solution for independant Texas evo owners

Thanks to everyone that was a part of this tuning trip.

Chris from AMS is a great guy who does a fantastic job with no fuss at all. He was a pleasure to work with.

Josh, what can I say? You ALWAYS go above and beyond with your commitment i making sure that everyone gets the best possible treatment whether it's wrenching on last minute fixes, giving directions, running for parts or whatever. You are truly selfless when it comes to making sure that everything goes smoothly even if it means putting yourself out.... WAY out.

To all the guys that got tuned, thanks for being respectful of the airport. There were a couple of times that things got a little hairy due to some locals not being aware of all that was going on, but we made it a safe, professional and efficient event and that is what matters.

Tony

Yeah, you're never going to win when it comes to the really wealthy, they seem to feel the need to attempt to assert their power whenever they feel even the least bit out of control Regardless, I'd take two jerks blowing off steam over two days over the cops or any of the local dyno operators any time

So those two fellas from Sat morning were the only two people that gave us any grief?

Were any of you guys able to do the before and after runs to gauge the speed/acceleration difference in the car?

More importantly...did anyone get to stay longer than I did!?!?!?

Nobody else did a test drive on the field. It was a get in, get tuned, get out scenario.

edit:

One member who will remain unnamed called me back after getting home from playing with the new set up complaining that his hands were now shaking

Sounds like things went really well for everyone. Good job to Tony and Josh!
Was there anyway to quantify the improvements made by Chris?
