where is this located on my evo, because the scanner picked this up and said their was a problem on my evo>

 

The wastegate is that round thing coming off the turbo with the rod attached with like a cotter pin I think attached to it. There's a nipple coming off it where a vaccum line should be connected (either boost controller or stock boost control solenoid). Hope that helps.
