Thats why I preferanced drag strip! Same driver, same tires, same brakes, the red would kill the 35r in the corners for sure, that was actually where I gained ground on the kevin! Even with my 160 tread wear tires and his 60 tread wear tires! And this was my first time on MSR, even a road course period, and first actual race environment with my evo.

beat yes, kill no i've definately got a couple seconds left in the car as is, with the hawk blues when they come. then assuming the braking works out for me, i'll turn the boost back up (24psi is sloooooow). the coilovers were MUCH better then last time because me and denver made some adjustments to the dampers (problem being is 2 of the adjustments are broke, so i'm limited to what i can do until they are replaced or rebuilt). even as is though, they are still bad. if i can get some of those bugs worked out, i'll be much smoother through little bend, the turn after little bend, and especially though rattle snake.

p.s. my porsche brake ducts you got me worked GREAT!!!! didn't boil over the fluid at all, and never completely lost the brakes. athough the pads weren't strong enough to kick on the ABS ever, they just gradually slowed the car down

MSR really comes down to usable power band and tire traction. So brakes, and keeping the car on pipe matter the most. Think I ran around 1:21 clockwise during instructor clinic. (with bald cording front tires ) Cant wait to try new alignment and go from there.

the only spot i had power band issues was in rattle snake. i had to drop down to second gear to keep going as soon as i got through rattle snake, the power was always there. i couldn't always put it to the ground though as shocks were a bit bouncy (not enough damping). i'm glad i have a front LSD though, or else i would have been in big trouble, like denver so denver, want a front LSD? i've got one you can have

For sure I want that!! Rattle snake was awesome with tire lift let me tell you!! I turn in to the first corner and its like ICE, and then in the middle two tire lift .... REVVVVVV BOG REEEEEV BOG as the tires come up and back down.

That was the area where the RED really shined though b/c the time you passed me on the front straight, I gained all the ground back right there, then you pulled away again on the straight.....

I think you first need to decide what you want out of your car....... what you can live with, what you must have, then use that information to decide on what turbo.

example: a 35r, look at spool up around 5k, so if you are keeping a stock block valve-train ect, take that into consideration. Your "usable" power band is from 5K to 7.5K on a stock configured car, however with meth injection tuning with supporting mods (AKA Kevins car) you'll be making 500+ HP.....

There are 100s of threads, what should I do this, I want this etc..... and really before all those questions, you have to set "goals" or determine your desire for your car is, what you want out of your car. How you want it to drive, handle, power etc??........

But my impressions, for what they are worth, are the red is a very nice well suited turbo for this car. But..... your not going to have Kevin Running scared on a straight away with it from what I have seen so far..........

Well then you have a goal! Just keep in mind Kevin tunes your car He'll never let you win anyway j/k there are several guys that are faster running around here....

That kit he is selling right now made 620HP on my car when mike had it on buschurs dyno. BUT my motor is built, and balance, which means it can rev to 10K without any issues so.......
