Wow... I would LOVE to run that track. A few years ago I did Texas Motor Speedway and thought that track was the best one I drove on.

why can't you just comment on the spool based on the initial impression?

The first time I took the car out on a shake down, I had the boost settings such that it would spool very slow so that I wouldnt get any spikes, or anything.

In my later post I made several comments about spoolup

Oh man, denver... glad you're liking the Red. Its a beast of a turbo for sure. Rev the motor to the sky and watch boost never taper.

Have you and Kevin bought MSR memberships yet? I need to be a leech.

I have:

evoRED (of course)with a heavily ported hotside "Evodynamics ported by yours truly"
Invida 3" o2 housing
gasket ported exhaust manifold
Kelford 272 cams, upgraded springs (of unknown brand came with the car)
Buschur Racing built 2.0, stage 3
Buschur Racing head
Buschur racing ported intake
Buschur racing oversized throttle body
Precision 1000cc injectors
a single Walbro 255
NGK 8 plugs gaped to .020
GM 3port boost control
Buschur SCCA 3" TBE... LOUD!
and I took the top off my intake box as a quick fix till I get the time to build a intake.....

I run e85 most of the time, but I havnt not tuned the red on e85....... I think I am going to run out of injector, followed shortly by running out of fuel pump with the evoRED before I come anywhere close to make power... only time will tell

I am currently on 93pump gas. the car has a partical tune, but I never get time between work, working on evos, and HONEY DOs to acctually get out and tune it.... with that said, even where it is now, which is no where near perfect I really like this turbo and I think it is currently the best option on the market for the evo.

My next round of purchases.....
Air intake and filter
IC and IC piping
shep built T-case

Followed by
1200cc injectors and double pumper fuel system

after that, assuming Im happy with power my car will be offically done with the "Go Fast" side of things, then to the handling

Let me know if you want any info on anything else, Im you want me to try something, I'm up for it, I will update this as I get the chance to do a pass and get some tuning in....

So you decided to sell them? Man, throw some better springs at them and give it another shot I say. On the other hand, if I pass on the Tomei's I might be in the market to pick these up from you
