Dude I wish I could go back out, but I leave Tuesday for Iraq. My car is in storage now I went to the track around March 21st I think. I didn't do as good as I was supposed to, I only ran twice and made a 12.7 and 12.9. It really sucked that night especially since they closed the track early due to light problems. I was driving an all black Evo. Thanks to a friend my car is all black, including brakes, rims, and engine. But now my car is in hibernation again. I'm swapping engines and turbo for my next mod. I can't wait!

Well its 5 am and i just got home, Monkey and I were easily installing my cams when for some reason the slack on the timing belt went tight and we cant get it back on....we spent hours litterly trying to get it on with no luck. Hopefully we figure we have to remove a motor mount to get some slack back, guess we will see.

Levar glad everything is going good. DIdnt understand about the date thing however?

Cams, huh? Are you going with that "hybrid" set up we talked about or just the straight HKS route? Sorry to hear about you having issues with the cams as I'm sure you would love to get up on it before you leave just to keep you smiling until you get back. I know we're going to have a lot of time to talk but are your plans still as they were before I left? Nevermind about the date comment as I probably did my M.I. thing and read too much into it. It's all good and I'll see you when I get to Taji around 6-8MAY.

 

for good news sakes, i buffed out most of the paint and scratch on my car. all that left is a little red chip where the corner panel and rear bumper meat! still needs a paint job!! any suggestions other than M@@co?

I'm a fan of Maaco. I have a buddy named Jarvis (tall brother with curly hair) that works there that will square you away. Their customer service is pretty nice as well.

 

the fp white... still based off stock evo 8 turbo so i am thinking an upgrade to the green or red and some new injectors would make a huge difference.
