It didnt spin the bearing. Something found its way onto the #4 bearing and scared it. The journals on the crank had no markings and were fine. We caught it before it spun or did any damage. It was basically a bearing w/ scarring on the outer edge. Popped it out and replaced it. Changed all 4 while we're at it... along w/ the ARP rod bolts. Trust me if it spun the crank would have been tossed. I dont believe in re-machining cranks. Had bad results before. Rather use a new one.

ricers don't race at the track anyways... The timeslips would destroy their hopes n' dreams.

they'll probably just stay at the parking lot after we leave... doing donuts and burnouts

Inline's machine shop has a wholesale warehouse near downtown that stocks clevite and acl bearings. Also forged components like pistons/rods (je and manley etc) even valvetrain components. That's how they get a lot of stuff fast, lol.

so, has the meeting location been confirmed? is it still @ Westheimer/Post Oak - Old Navy parking lot? Seem a little out of they way for me to go north then come back south...but I want to roll with everyone else too. Maybe I can meet everyone on the way there...Anyone else live in the SE side?

List updated. Yes the meeting spot as of right now if official. If you like you could host a second meeting spot and we can just meet up and all roll out at once.
