friday: heavy T-storms...anthony its your call... wish the track would open on saturdays....
someone should check if its open on Sunday (they usually are for test/tune)
Also... HRP has their own weather station thingy... they will stay open until it rains on site.
what? how do you know the motor is dead? Is the head still ticking? or did you actually blow up the engine last night?
its still running, but the knock sensor is lighting up again like a christmas tree. So same problem. It wasnt the head that was ticking. Its coming from the block. Since we swapped the rod bearings again... there is something else spitting metal everywhere messing them up. The only other thing it could be is the crank's main bearings. I had the head opened up and there was no wear or anything wrong w/ it or the valvetrain. Its pretty annoying trouble shooting it... so im just going to rip it out and build the entire motor from scratch. Im sure during the tear down we'll find out what happened exactly...
