Mitsu & Subie Showdown Oct 30th 2009
So yeah... we think its the balance shaft bearings that is contaminating the oil supply and directly affecting the rod/main bearing health by shooting pieces to them. Motor has to come out to remove the balance shafts which I'm sure the bearings for them are toast. its irritating that this dumb failure almost made my bottom end fail. We were wondering where all this trash was coming from, lol. Anyways, balance shafts spin 2x faster than the crank... so 8500rpm x2 = 17000 rpm for the bal shafts... math is scary. Enevitable. Time to build.
Tommy owes me a burger fot not breaking a 13.9 in his new svt cobra, lol... rookie rwd driver!
U did pretty good for ur first time at the track Michelle!
I think James ran his first 12 on his last pass...but timing sensors were out! Boooo.....

James = 12s but no slip.... made some previous 13s I think
Justin = 11.7 @ 118mph
MDR = 11.6 @ 119mph
