nah i dont care about lag! car is just for the drag strip and occasional driving
the gsc s3 cams will push my powerband to the right anyways, it will make up for the later spool. but my budget is up for this year, next year will be:
curt brown ported IM/EM
buschur 65mm throttle body (already have it, just sitting in the room)
gsc s3 cams along with supporting valvetrain
FP red/black or Map EF3/EF4 turbo will be undecided till next year
car is staying stock frame for now. after i build the motor i'll be going with a FF 6466

Yes, we have 2 stations that I know for e85 ..375 and pebble hills...375 and soccorro rd...el paso also has places were they sell race fuel but I don't know
Why 2.0? Lets do something big... 2,4lr or 2.1slr... Besides the 4g64 is much easier to sourch then a 4g63...
As for diffs and tcase, no it is a royal pain inthe dick to set pinion depth so i leave it to people better and more patient the me. As you can see in my sig... Lol

i want a 2.0LR cause the car will only be used for drag, plus with the bigger 6466 i'll need as much powerband as possible. more displacement is nice for big turbo's but 8500 will not cut it for me.
the rev limit of a 2.4lr is closer to 9500... and 2.1slr is only limited by the springs you choose... in theory is should rev to like 14k... but of course the valve train would fail long before hand.

oh and both give an decent increase in low end torque over your lil baby 2.0 at a lower cost due to how common the block/crank are.
i do agree that a stocker 2.3 is basically crap and i havne't recommended one since i got stuck with one... if i wasn't so invested i would cut it loose and start fresh. but you live and learn.

3rd gear feels great, acutally got kinda squirrely. other than that i'm waiting for the track to see how she does. i wont mention HP numbers till i see my timeslips, but i'll tell you this. 28psi tapers to 22 and tom thinks it'll trap 110

When I had my evo 9 turbo I hit 12.4 at 110
I was on 29psi, 91Oct
Can't wait to see u out there just hope it doesn't get windy
