yea i used to hang out with abel and all them... those guys don't do much these days... abel stopped doing meets for the most part. anyway whenever you get back lemme know... i'm more then happy to take care of all of your repairs and evo upgrade needs...

 

Big shout out to Joe and Mario they did awesome work on my transmission, with out these guys I would be 100% lost. ANYTHING u might need to do Joe is your man. He has saved me tons of money on small custom things to keep my car running. Thanks a ton joe transmission runs great. Also if u didnt know joe did my cams and a few other internal work on my car with no problem.

joseph and mario, need your expertise!!!

driving home today from work, car loses power. when i try and accelerate the car wants to die. i pulled over and the car was idling fine, gave it some gas and it wants to die. turned off the vehicle and look around the engine bay/fuses etc. i reset the ecu and the car wont start at all. the car turns over but wont ignite. so before i start buying parts like crank position sensor and cam angle sensor or even new fuel pump. what should my course of action be? i'm hoping someone had the same problem as me!! i thought it might be my spoolinup cop, so i put the oem coils on and checked the spark plugs. car still wouldnt start, almost like the crank position sensor is disconnected when doing a compression test. help please LOL

 

joseph143; Nah im not Paul. The only Paul I know there currently drives a black 2011 Mazdaspeed3. I think he does autoX events and he has hit the 1/4 mile track a few times

 

Check your fuel pump and similar stuff, is the service engine light on?

 

CEL isnt on, the fuel pump is priming. i'm going to get an ohm meter today and test the sensors

 

So u have fuel but no spark? And sd right?

 

Thats Paul Manomaitis, he Autox a few times last year but he doesn't anymore. He still comes out to take pictures every now and then though. He has great photography skills!

Speaking of Autox, our next two events are next weekend, Saturday and Sunday, the 25th and 26th. I invite you to come to one or both. We have two Evo's that race out there and one is in first and the other in third in the street tires class. These cars are rock at these types of events. I will only be there on Sunday as I will be racing in the Tucson rallyX again on Saturday. After my first place win last time I am currently tied for first in year end points.
