Hey Houstonians and surrounding areas, I was wondering if any of the drivers want to meet up some time next weekend and have a couple of drinks and check out each other's cars. PM me or better yet, post a reply saying when and where would be good for u. I drive from Spring to Downtown so I am no stranger to Houston, and I'm off weekends entirely. So, tell me when and where, and let's try to get some people out and about next weekend.

Well, prob on Saturday around 2 pm would be good, but I can do it later if needs be. I think Downtown is too crowded and Willowbrook mall at FM1960 and 249 has a big, empty parking lot and not a lot of traffic, so i think there would be good. But, im up for suggestions. But, Willowbrook Mall at 2 pm on Sat is my suggestion, if anyone has another, just post it.

We always have out car meets (Ford guys) over at Hooters on Westheimer & Gessner. They don't have a huge parking lot, but you can park in the Randall's car park next door (in the corner near the gas station is best) for more space. If you get enough people interested then you can also ask for the back room to yourselves (maybe next time?), but you need to do it in advance. The Hooters girls at that location are rather pleasing to the eye too .

 

There is a large strip center off of Richmond and 610, outside the loop, across from a Best Buy and Chick-Fil-A. I can give you an address for a shop in the center tomm when I'm at work, but that should suffice and there is plenty of room and plenty of places to eat and chill, so if that works, let me know. It's right next to the Galleria.

I am probably the old man of the group, but I am always game to meet EVO owners. How much have you guy's done to your cars? I have been working on mine little by little since I bought it. I have gone with all Buschur mods so far and they have been true to their word. I can't believe the little 2.0 runs as hard as my old 454 did!

 

Ok, the shopping center is at the corner of Richmond Ave. and Post Oak Blvd. across from a Best Buy. There is an empty parking lot near the shopping center, but it's closed for some unknown reason. Anyway, 2:00 pm, Saturday, Shopping center at the corner of Richmond Ave. and Post Oak Blvd., Bring your friends!

Just remember the shopping center is on the North side of Richmond. Just find the Best Buy, and look across the street where there is a 24 hour fitness, which is where the shopping center is. Here is the name of the shopping center:
PLAZA ON RICHMOND @ Richmond Ave between Westheimer Rd & Sage Rd

If anyone needs to Mapquest it and needs an exact address (dunno why, it's right off the 610 @ Richmond ) then it's the same strip as the 24 Hour Fitness, Chinese Cafe, and City Streets. Well, I hope it is otherwise I'll look stupid . Again.
