Why is this Evo so much?

I was bored at work and looking around on craigslist and came across this GSR at Red McCombs Ford West. It is a used 2012 base model GSR chrome mirrors and they are asking $35,999. They had originally posted at $36,999. What is wrong with some of these local San Antonio dealers? I am convinced that are city has the worst dealers. Why would someone pay that price when they can get a new one for $400-$500 cheaper (assuming you even paid sticker price)?

But a 2013 with 5 miles being sold at a dealership is still at least $400 cheaper. And that is factoring in if you pay sticker price

Why are you worrying about what it's being on sale for? Like everything else in life the buyer will ultimately set the price. If no suckers' around they will lower the sticker eventually.

Not worried about it at all. Why would you even ask that? As I stated in my original post, I was bored, outside smoking, and surfing craigslist. I do this pretty regularly. I was also looking at cars for my cousin (although he couldnt afford an Evo).

Just making small talk man

because the chrome mirror housing. boom. mind blown

my SSS 2011 was 35 out the door. all i see is the big wing on this. not even the RF system in it. lowering the price will be too easy on this one.

Curious why you traded a '12 for a '13...?

It's just an asking price, everything is always negotiable.

The large wing is standard. The only thing added from the base model is the chrome mirrors. That's why I said I don't understand the pricing. The MSRP on a new one is less then this.

I wanted the additional packages. The "bells and whistles" so to speak. I traded in a base model 12 for a 13 with the SS, SL, interior and illumination package.

I was going to wait for the 2014, but I have a feeling they will be hard to come by
