For anyone interested..... We have 3 Evo's from Lafayette that will be running. 1 Stock and 2 mod'ed.

Just show up to run. Must have a bettery tie-down. Which the car does stock. I reccomend a helmut. They have some loaners too if needed. It is a blast!!!!

The next SOWELA Region Autocross will be June 20 at Burton Coliseum in Lake
Charles. It is open to the public.

Registration & tech opens: 9:00 am
Timed Runs Begin: 11:30 am
Entry fee: $15 ($10 for Novices & McNeese students w/ID)

All competitors must have a valid drivers license.

Trophies will be awarded at the end of the competition.

Come race with us, and bring a friend. See you there !!!!!

Me, Larry, and You. I would like to get Stephen and Chaz (Red with CF hood) out there. It would be nice to get some flyers to hand out. Saturday nights all the "Ricers" hang out at the old Target. I would Like to try to get a few of them to come race.

Larry's brother might come out with us. RX-7, Turbo, Suspension.... Awsome car to watch... shoots flames when he lifts!!!!

Why don't you guy include somehting like this in one of you track designs. I can understand there would be some roll-over risk if the track wasn't flat and level. But why not in Lake Charles.

Need a flyer, here ya go.

We sometimes use a skidpad in our course designs but you need a lot of room and good level surface to do a good one and Burton is not as flat as it looks.

Do you have a silver SVT Focus and live in Lafayette off Kaliste Saloom..... If not than you are not the only one. I have seen that one around.

The first weekend in Spetember there will a race at no problem called import show down 5. They run the drag strip, road course, and have a show. A few of the EVO's from around here will be there. And there will be annother autocross in three weeks in Lake Charles and then one in Lafayette in like 1 1/2 months. There are 3 EVO's from the Lafayette area that run at the autocrosses. There should be at least 4 at no problem in september. I would be glad to run against you. I haven't run a drag or road course before so it should be interesting.

 

Not me. I had a red one and live in Hammond.

My, hopefully if the car gets here, first track event will be the PCA DE at NPR on August 21-22. The Porsche club runs a good program, and I think its cheap as far as track days go.

Sweet!!! It would be nice to see a couple EVO out there with the Posche's. Keep me posted. I know a few people that would like to do some track time out there (EVO's SVT Lightnings).
