ie - so I don't know of any one except Evo 8 U that has tested their dealership.

Because this is what happened in past years - modded cars went in for routine services, and were flagged without the owners even knowing. Someone found out about that in a round about way and had an issue (there is a warranty thread on here somewhere).

So the end result is that we have people with good stories and people with sad complaints (that have been given a raw deal.) But these were all around the country, and not here in S FL. I don't think any of the TEMEVO guys have had a significant problem with their cars!!!
You seem to be pretty knowledgeable can you tell me what current trend in our area for tuning is aside from exhaust and a filter more along flashes or piggybacks. What are people using and from who?

My clients that want Huper Optik is mostly high end. I do BMW's, Jaguars, Benz, G35's etc and their willing to pay. The reason is because the film is a ceramic based material which doesnt affect radio signals and navigation systems. A 30% Huper film outperforms and keeps out a lot more heat that the darkest Llumar (5%). I do at least 1 Huper Optik job a week and it runs about $380 - $450. I just did a M3 today and I have a BMW 740 tomorrow that will cost $420. The film is also a lot harder to work with that regular film and there are only about 4 dealers in South Florida that carries the brand. Its really a performance film and not used for privacy so it only goes as dark as 30%.

I hope this little explantion helps. Anyway check out my website at www.creativecarz.com or just click on my sig. I will be meeting you guys next week.
Nice - that Huper Optik sounds like the real deal! If I'm getting this right - you are saying that I can get a very light colored tint or maybe even clear that keeps the car cooler, and allows better visability?!

On this thread, PRVRT not only has the most posts, but he also has the largest word count. He types like a mad chimpanzee who has had a gallon of cuban coffee (espresso for you west coast types). I'm so proud of him... (sniffle)

I think its because the temevo crew has a good idea of what to do and what not to do with our cars. We arent out there tearing up our cars like many who have warranty problems with thier evo's. We run em hard but we know when to take it easy.

There are alot of good stuff now, and you'll have to read threads and compare results to see what's best for you.

I would note this - some chips come plug and play and work great, BUT we've observed that most Evo's come with different STOCK tuning from the factory.
just make sure to change your fuel pump first - to a high flow Walbrough and if you can get a tuner to flash and test and reflash until the graph comes out right, so you don't run too rich or lean - you'll probably be better off than a mail order plug in.
