Wish that I had my car in this wonderful driving weather, but still has it. They called on Friday and said that they had a computer problem and counldn't access the info they needed to complete. BS. I'm going to try and get them to throw in my clutch. AFter all, I didn't use a loaner car and they can say that the clutch was due to some of the tranny problems.

Also, it looks like the speedlogic show on autocross is going to be this weekend.

Well I would have done better if my tires were hooking up, but the Dynoflash made a significant difference, here are the results...

When I last ran at Moroso in August my EVO did a 13.3 at 99 mph trap speed. 60' time was 1.8. I guess the heat made my tires sticky, hence the 1.8 60' time.

Now with the Dynoflash in, I did a 12.9 at 110 mph trap speed with less boost up from 99 mph. But my 60' time was a 2.2 compaired to the 1.8. I was spinning tires in 2nd gear, I could not believe it, that's how much torque I gained, plus maybe my tires are a little more worn out than the last time I ran and it was cold, everybody with street tires I talked to had problems hooking on that surface last night.

I have no doubt that if I my tires were sticking, mid 12s no problem.

BTW if doc had trouble hooking up for a launch because of the cold then let's all take it easy on the curves. I would hate to see any of us lose it.

 

I think the problem is with the surface of the track. You would probably get more traction on asphalt with street tires. I've never had a problem on street surfaces.

 

Ok WTF Im pissed off!!!!!

Last night I go to a christmas party and then head over with a couple people to All Stars on sample.... Anyway I get there stand out front and wait for a couple more people to get there...I WAS NOT SPEEDING, DRAGGING, OR RUNNING OVER ANY PEOPLE ON THE WAY THERE....

as soon as I get a smoke and I am waiting in front a cop car pulls in behind my car. one cop gets out looks all around the car checks the plates VIN and even invades my privacy bysticky his hands and face all over my windows while flashing his mag lite to see in my car to see if there is anything obvious so they can (I am assuming) find something to **** with me when I get out of the bar. anyway they stood there in the car for a while (Im assuming this too)while they ran the VIN and PLATES.

Anyway my friends are all like forget about it....so we went inside had a couple drinks.

When I leave the bar the cops are right there to pull up behind me and wait for me to get in the car....Ahhhh HAAA im to smart FOR U FOCKERS!!!! I just opened the back door and took off my jacket and put it in the back, like I was going back into the bar.... Thats when they rolled around the corner and I went back up into the bar and make it look like i wasnt leaving.... anyway I got in the car and left cause I didnt want these guys harrassing me for asomething I didnt do....FOCKERS

I didnt have any drugs, I wasnt drunk, no guns or suspicious activity..and other than being way cooler than those cops since I drive an EVO I didnt commit any fn crimes...

Jon I hope these werent your homies.....it just looks bad on their side that they would be doing this for no apparant reason.. now get this I do not hate cops or anyuthing like that I am just pissed that they are trying to profile my *** casues of a car....My uncle was a cop, my cousin is a cop, my friends dad was a cop, I have nothing but repect for them for protecting us and our country but I really felt like really offened that they would think this is acceptable behaviour...

Luiquid, trust me I get all the time here since I got my EVO! When I am getting out of work at like 10:30pm, the same trooper tails me to see if I do anything he can stop me for! Just take it easy, I have cops in my family and they said there are alot of bad ones out there and just try not to cross the3m when they are profiling you!! Have a beer to calm down on me!!!

Don't worry we will read if you need to vent more!!!! Thats what we are here for to help each other!!!

Its kind of like when people have a bad stero type of others because a few bad eggs ruin it for others...and thats why they do stuff like this but at the same time, they should be doing things better because they too are also in the same category of having a stero type....

Sory of like there are some people in the import scene that are on the up and up, but we all ahve to watch out and make sure were not racing and causing crap or well get busted for it in an instant becuase we fit that profile...

Dr. Evo - nice times ! Was that on pump gas or race juice ? I can just see that car of yours making like 330 ft lbs of trq on race fuel and busting those tires loose n 2nd gear big time

I suggest if you ddnt try it - lower the f tire pressure down to 10 or 12 psi and see if that helps

Those advan really suck in cold temps for sure - thats why i am basically stuck on drag racng till the spring
